Lower Columbia River Estuary Partnership This is a non-profit group that leads canoe trips so that students may learn about the natural history of the river from the river. The farthest east they go is of Bonneville, however. It’s free to teachers and students, and a very popular program. They book out months in advance.

She Who Watches tours at Columbia Hills State Park (Horse Thief Lake) Restrictions: 25 people per tour, tours are between April and October, Fridays and Saturdays. Call Washington State Parks in February to reserve a trip for next spring: 509-767-1159.
