Each night we will be staying at the Pacific Crest Grange. The routes for each day are below

 

Day 1 – Astoria River Walk

• Route Option 1: River Walk

  • Miles: 4.8

  • Elevation gain: 105 ft

  • Ending: Astoria Riverwalk Trailhead (shuttle back to Pacific Grange)

• Route Option 2: River Walk and Astoria Column

  • Miles: 6.9

  • Elevation gain: 695 ft

  • Ending: Astoria Riverwalk Trailhead (shuttle back to Pacific Grange)

Friday, July 25– Russel Battery & Peter Iredale to Pacific Grange

• Route Option 1: Russel Battery to Pacific Grange

  • Miles: 9.1

  • Elevation gain: 185 ft

  • Ending at Pacific Grange (no shuttle)

• Route Option 2: Russel Battery to Pacific Grange (shuttle home)

  • Miles: 7.9

  • Elevation gain: 110 ft

  • Ending at Pacific Grange (no shuttle)

  • Ending at Shuttle Pickup bathroom off Sunset Beach road (shuttle)

Saturday, July 26 – Fort Clatsop to the Sea

• Route Option 1: Fort Clatsop to the Sea

  • Miles 9.1

  • Elevation gain: 914 ft

  • Ending at Pacific Grange (no shuttle)

• Route Option 2: Fort Clatsop to the Sea (shuttle home)

  • Miles: 7.0

  • Elevation: 611 ft

  • Ending at Shuttle Pickup bathroom off Sunset Beach road (shuttle)​

Sunday, July 27  – Sunset Beach to Seaside’s Broadway Street

• Route Option 1: Sunset Beach to Seaside Broadway

  • Miles: 9.1

  • Elevation gain: 125 ft

  • Ending at Seaside Broadway Street (shuttle back to Pacific Grange)

• Route Option 2: Sunset Beach to Gearhart

  • Miles: 5.8

  • Elevation: 67 ft

  • Ending at the Gearhart tennis courts (shuttle to Seaside, then back to Pacific Grange)

Monday, July 28 – Tillamook Head Trail to Indian Beach​

• Route Option 1 – Tillamook Head Trail to Indian Beach

  • Miles: 5.1

  • Elevation gain: 1,215 ft

  • Ending at Indian Beach parking lot  (Shuttle back to Pacific Grange)

  • Route Option 2: Clatsop Loop Trail (end at Indian Beach)

• Miles: 2.9 miles Loop

  • Elevation gain: 790 ft

  • Notes:

  • Meet longer hiking crew for lunch at Ecola Park Hiker’s camp you can go either direction. The inland forest road is shorter, but slightly steeper than the route that is closer to the Ocean) ending at Indian Beach parking lot  (Shuttle back to Pacific Grange)​
